Last May 28-29, thirty-two people (including me and Jasper) travelled from Jam bus station in EDSA Kamuning to Brgy Hugom in San Juan, Batangas, where we started our trek up Mount Daguldol.
For the next few hours, we hiked along a trail that led us through steep steps, muddy areas and narrow cliffs. Amazingly enough, the houses there had electricity and had stores where we could buy Mountain Dew and ice water. The campsite also had a potable water source so we didn't need to bring that much water.
The top of Mount Daguldol was breathtaking because of the clear blue sky and the view of the valley and the ocean below. In the morning, we saw thick mist covering the valley as if forming a bridge for us to walk on.
As we came down the mountain, we passed by various flora and fauna as well as a monkey playing in one of the trees.
Our adventure wasn't over yet since we got to frolic in the beach of San Juan before heading back home.
